Qian Xi Restaurant (N°11) on 19 rue des Halles
just in between Showroom Paris N°1 and N°9
Qian Xi is a famous hi-class Chineese Restaurant.
Back in the 1980s it was the home of Les Bouchons
where you could have met Sao Schlumberger (1929 - 2007)
and Andy Warhol (1928 - 1987).
The facade was made by the sculptor Charles Gauthier (1831 - 1891)
and the architect Jean Philippe Lobrot (1845 - 1907)
under the influence of Empress Eugénie (1826 - 1920)

Maison Rouge is a traditional French Brasserie
linked to the history of King Henry IV,
the first Bourbon King of France.
In the 1960s Coco Chanel that suffered from insomania
used to go there in the middle of the night
to observe the magic of the former les Halles foodmarket.
Sometime she was accompanied by her friend Aimée de Heeren
that captivated everybody by her beauty.
2016 april 7 Maison Rouge reopened
returning to it's former beauty thanks to Flore Prat.

Gladines is an inexpensive Basque Restaurant
very popular with fashion models and young people.
The staff of the restaurant is very glamorous as well.
The restaurant is connected to the legend
to be the birthplace of many Love Stories.
One of them started in february 1939
between Aimee de Heeren,
Brazilian Secret Service agent
and Joe Kennedy Jr.
Aimée needed the help of the son of the American Ambassador in London
to transmit secret documents to President Roosevelt.
While the young Kennedy came to visit her in Paris
she showed him Cremerie de Paris
and the opposit restaurant N°3
that was was a fruit store at the time.
Aimee knew the place from Coco Chanel.

Aimée de Heeren and Joe Kennedy Jr are remembered
in historic insriptions on the facade of 11 rue des Halles .

Many other Love Stories started at the place,
in particular since march 2013
when André Rousseau
opened the Restaurant Gladines.

Bistro des Halles is a very reputated traditional restaurant
from the times of the Halles Centrales foodmarket.
If you want to meet people that live in the area
it's the place to go.
Even though the restaurant is very French
it is part of the history of Coca Cola
as one of the very first places in Europe where it was possible
to get Coca Cola drinks back in 1918.
Nobody remembered the story.
It reappeared february 2023,
when Coca Cola and the Spanish singer Rosalia
came to Showroom Paris N°1
to present a new edition of Coca Cola.

Today the former Empress of the French
